Is there is official Vocaloid songs, and fan made songs?

I'm a bit new to vocaloid, and i wan't to make sure about if there is official Vocaloid songs (Officially annunced and are the main ones), or all of them are fan made songs (made by normall people, or some normal/brand companies), so that's all that was confusing me 'bout Vocaloid, and i want to understand it more, and thanks for reading this :D

The majority of the songs are made by fans of the software, mostly amateurs but many are professional musicians and some became professional via Vocaloid usage.

There have, however, been a handful of official songs, but again, due to the nature of Vocaloid and its fandom... These were musicians hired to use the software.

When you consider there are over 40,000+ Miku original songs, its easy to understand how most end up like this. This is the story of how Vocaloid came big, however, and sadly how some 100 songs ended up also being the only ones out of the 40,000+ that were famous to be remembered... :-/

There have basically been songs commissioned by companies who made the software and songs made by users who bought the software. The latter aren't 'fanfiction' and are official in a sense, but yeah – Angel covered it.

Something like FL Studio doesn't have "official songs," just songs created with it as demos on the website.  Likewise with Vocaloid.  The company producing a Vocaloid to be sold doesn't write official songs for them, they sell the vocaloid and users use it as they wish.

@Anon : Let me give you a small tip, there are comments on this thread, and if you look at the bottom of them you can see a date. These two things will not only tell you if the problem has been solved but how long ago the question was answered.
