"Karakuri卍Burst" was uploaded on January 15, 2011 and is Hitoshizuku-P's thirteenth original VOCALOID work. This is the first collaboration (Yamashizuku) Hitoshizuku-P × Yama to feature Yama to play the guitar (previous collaborations in Yamashizuku only featured Yama mixing the audio).
Not only was it Hitoshizuku-P's first work with the Kagamines' Append, released a few weeks before the songs' upload, it's mentioned in Hitoshizuku-P's description that the upload was to celebrate the Kagamine Appends' release on December 27, 2010.
Like many other works of Hitoshizuku-P, it has reached the Hall of Fame, with over 500,000 views to date. The song later was expanded into a series, and the songs could be seen in Karakuri Burst's album. Suzunosuke has also made a doujinshi of the story, available in Toranoana (it was sold alongside Hitoshizuku-P's album of the same title).
This song is featured in the EXIT TUNES compilation album Vocalocluster.
