The song was first uploaded on April 25th 2012; making it One Hundred Million Yen-P's second work, and his first Kagamine original work. The song managed to get many mylist, that it ranked first on the daily ranking the second day it was uploaded. It also managed to reach the Vocaloid weekly ranking number 213.
A few hours after the song was uploaded, many commenters from Nico Nico Douga posted various potential P names (at that time, One Hundred Million Yen-P was known as just "Dezzy"). Potential P names dominated the comments at that time, and it stayed as so for a few days.
In the end, Dezzy chose the P name "One Hundred Million Yen-P" as his P name. The P name was chosen, for the part of the lyrics in the song Len and Rin said "One Hundred Million Yen". One Hundred Million Yen-P updated his description saying "Thank you for all the P names WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY" and stated the P name he chose. Later, his songs' title were tagged with his P name.
The song Rin Len Uchuu Touzokudan was a uploaded as a part of the compilation "Van! Fun! Fan!" (thus the lyrics), a techno Vocaloid compilation.
