This story follows a Bakeneko which fell in in love with a woman that had lost her lover by his death. In this song, to keep her smiling, the bakeneko disguises as her deceased lover while pretending to have lost his memory. In the end, she stated his eyes looked different from her past lover's as his disguise begun to peel away. He ran away with her bidding him a 'thank you'.
