- "A White Cat"
|“|| I attempted to do something with one of my favorite Vocaloids, Kiyoteru. Ehehe. I wanted to use my cello for background music, but it wouldn't cooperate so I decided to have Big Al step in and be my background vocals.
I've never composed a song before and I have no clue how it works, but this was fun anyway. I hope Kiyoteru had fun filling the role of a sneaky cat, too. Oh yeah, and this was inspired by Edith Wharton's Ethan Frome.
"A White Cat" is an original song by Lucidia featuring Hiyama Kiyoteru along with BIG AL in the chorus.
Watch me, watch me closely
Don’t you say one more word
I can see that every thought you think
Changes with the steps you take
Don’t feel that I’m not around
Pretend you’re alone when I’m nowhere to be found
(I knew the cat was a smart cat!)
Acting as though you haven’t heard me speaking
Surely I’ve given you enough chances by now.
Watch you, watch you quietly
Don’t you think it’s nice in here?
I can feel your every breath in the quiet of the evening
Don’t keep your secrets from me
Don’t hide your life from me
Pretend you’re alone when I really am around
When I’m nowhere to be found
When I really am around
