Producer

"Producer" is the term used for any person that produces Vocaloid-related audiovisual material, generally original music or fanmade PVs.

Although the term was originally used to refer just to the composers, is also now used to refer to illustrators and animators known to produce their own PVs (E.g. Atatata-P). The term is also used to describe users who create high-quality covers, as well as originals (e.g. Sango312 , LauraMegurine).

About "-P"

Many producers have a name with "-P" or sometimes just "P" on the end, referred to as a "Producer title". It was common within the fandom to give recognized Vocaloid producers their own title, and was treated as an honor. Although this practice isn't quite as common anymore, some producers still use their producer title, and some even make up their own (e.g. Kentai-P).

It should be noted that when it comes to a producer's name most fans go by what the producer refers to himself or herself as. In some cases this can be both the original name and the producer title (e.g. Akuno-P/Mothy).
