“Working in game development and chiptunes all day and night, cranking out pixels seven ways from Sunday. That's how dad did it, that's how Starbox from Poland does it. Taking pit stops in EDM and rock, his music can go all the way from classic C64 jams to modern depictions of the genre and then we wind up with Chipbox.
I got a bit more invested than usual in this one, contributing with a Game Boy remix, only hoping to provide a bit of what I'd been meaning to do for a long time: a proper Vocaloid & chiptune project. It's not that easy to merge the two, specially when it comes to mixing. But good things come to those who wait (in other words, be lazy) so Andrzej sent me this album and managed to do that. I do buy into the notion that this is the most faithful Vocaloid & chiptune album out there, along with Japanese producer Xinon, who uses LSDj frequently.
