On their official YouTube channel, GLAM said their group name "GLAM" stands for "Girls Be Ambitious." The groups official debut is collaborated with Source Music.

The romanization of Kim Dahee's name by the Western community has lead to much confusion. However, the problem was fixed when GLAM romanized her name as Dahee Kim on SBS-MTV's real music drama GLAM.
