Background[]

The Sisters' Story is a trilogy of songs produced by masa. It tells the story of fraternal twins, Tsukuyomi (represented by GUMI) and Amaterasu (represented by Miku), and the bloody history between them.

In summary, Amaterasu kills Tsukuyomi on their seventh birthday and lives more than a decade of her life disguised as Tsukuyomi so as to avoid the blame for her sister's death; eventually, Tsukuyomi's spirit returns and causes confusion in Amaterasu as to her true identity which leads her to kill herself, as well.
