History[]
Silhouettes for the AH-Software VOCALOIDs were revealed on a poster on November 6, 2014; however, it was unconfirmed what they were for at the time.[1] On November 20, it was confirmed in the livestream for VOCALOID4 that they all, with the exception of Tohoku Zunko, would receive VOCALOID4 voicebanks.
On May 28, 2015, AH-Software showed a new design for Kiyoteru to promote the AniNite concert in Vienna, Austria. Its relation to his VOCALOID4 update was unknown at the time.[2]
On August 17, it was noted that Kiyoteru and Kaai Yuki would receive demos some time after the AniNite concert ended. It was also mentioned that Kiyoteru's VOCALOID4 voicebank was recorded from scratch to improve his upper and lower ranges.[3]
On September 30, Kiyoteru was confirmed to receive a Natural and Rock vocal. He had also gained a new design which corresponded with the Rock voicebank, while his Natural voicebank used the design that was shown off in May to promote the AniNite concert. His Natural and Rock vocals could be purchased separately or together, and a Starter Pack was confirmed to be available. His release date was announced to be October 29, 2015.[4]
On October 15, trial versions of his voicebanks became available.[5]
