Acme Iku (阿久女イク) is the mascot for the software MAIDLOID (メイドロイド), she is a housemaid android who is meant to be a lewd and cute character. She is voiced by Sayaka Keina (計名さや香).

AboutEdit

It is a voice synthesizing engine much like Vocaloid, but is made to create erotic sounds instead of singing. It can voice the 50 Japanese consonants along with several hundred terms to sound like a recreation of an eroge.

There are a few extras, such as the ability to insert customized special sound effects.

Usage for musicEdit

Some have attempted to make her sing, and even proved successful by transferring the Japanese consonants into UTAU. She is not meant for music however, like with the Macne Series you need to own the original voicebank to legally be able to use her as a UTAU. Her common UTAU voicebank users often come across is made from the lite version of her software, she has barely any clarity and is difficult for even naitve Japanese speakers to understand. Acme Iku's voice can be used in games and animation and those works can be sold. However, it is illegal to distribute her full voicebank. There are exceptions with the Lite version.

• Those in the fandom that are aware of her have called her the perverted "vocaloid" or "utauloid / x-loid".
• The majority of western UTAU users who manage secure the UTAU voicebank for their own usage do not own the original voicebank and it is estimated that the number of users who own it illegally is quite high. Part of the problem was that because other UTAU voicebanks are shared freely, they presume the same for the Maidloid even though this is not the case.
• Iku was featured as a playable character in the Japanese PC doujin game Super Strip Fighter IV (スーパーストリートファイターⅣ).
