There are many awesome vocaloid derivatives out there like Neru and Haku. Why should they not be included in live concerts when they are officially recognized?

@bebe, you fail to know the definition of "amateur". Also, just because someone tells you the truth and reality of things, does not mean their being rude. I hate this idea that some adopt that if they o against your idea their being rude. No one was rude here, we told you the truth... You ignore them and call us rude?
One moment you say you work by yourself and the next you say a group of three - but list inanimate software as the members. Hello, their Vocaloid, software, not real people. Also, why resurrect a dead OC, their still not a Vocaloid and if their dead their best forgotten.
Ironically, you tell us to be open and its 2016... Yes, its 2016, the OC craze is dying because there are now 60+ vocaloids, not 3-8, there is not longer the same desire there was before. The one living in the past is you; this is all 2009 behaviour that has long since gotten on every veteran fans nerves because there are a lot of fans who've been here since then and are tired of a fandom who can't get over its not 2009 anymore. All of which so far you've displayed. WE the fans who've been around since 2009 as a collective fandom what to move forward.
Before you criticize us, look at yourself, open YOUR eyes; is 2016, there is no need to worship OCs, which were a replacement for the lack of Vocaloid because there are plenty of them. Stop living in 2009 kid and grow up already. I'm sorry, I'm not being rude again, I'm just saying your being immature about this but insisting your right. We're not in the wrong here, which is why we're coming off as cold, because we've dealt with fans like you every day who choose not to listen to reason and logic when we're telling you how things are.
These derivatives were concepts on how to take then (then) few vocaloids and make the most of them. Thats all. The ones who stuck did so because they were memes. The rest were lost to time because there was bickering between "owners" and stuff like this, plus as the number of vocaloids vocals came into existence the fandom divided. Crypton Future Media was no longer the soul source of the fans vocals and many new companies did not bother the same adoptive tactics.
Vocaloid is a professional software at the end of the day; not a toy.
Hello again
I forgot to mention we added a new page to our website. When we emailed the owner's and company's we were refered to these page's, as such we have linked them on our website. You will find we are doing everything legally http://hyperdrive-official.wix.com/hyperdrive#!blank/d880j
I hope this ease's your mind's, sadly this is all I can give you as far as permission goes. Should anymore come up we will be sure to update.
Have a nice day
Here's my whole issue with what you're aiming to do... because none of this is actually introducing VOCALOID to Australia, it's really seems more or less like it's relying WAY too heavily on nostalgia from Early V2-era memes that, in truth, not so many people are into anymore as you think.
Bluntly put, it gives a completely wrong impression of what VOCALOID today is like.
It's fine if you want to mention fanmades and how big they were back in the day, but we've come into an era now that the info is more widely known that there are more VOCALOIDs than just Miku/CFM Character Vocals, and Gackpo & GUMI and all of their related derivatives. There's more than just Japanese-based VOCALOIDs. And not highlighting the actual purpose and capabilities of VOCALOIDs of the present seems to me a huge injustice to the folks you seem to be trying to reach out to. THAT'S what mostly everyone commenting on the whole thing is trying to get you to see... it's not just about abandoning old memes, it's about getting people to understand what VOCALOID really is. The concert you have in mind at the moment just won't do that, unfortunately...
Look, I understand having an attachment to fanmade characters like Neru and Haku. I myself find them to be a nice, comfortable symbol of a simpler time, when there were only 4 companies making Vocaloids and I could actually keep track of how many official characters there were. But as Angel and Momoiro said, the era of fanloids is pretty much dead now. And honestly, of all the characters to choose from, with now over 60 official Vocaloids available, you could really do a lot better than Miku, blonde Miku, and albino Miku.
And just for the record, I for one love Sai.
@Evil, Since they have kept their word about not returning, one can presume nothing we said got through to them.
I don't think any of us like to say this stuff, but the old saying "you have to be cruel to be kind" is pretty much covered in our responses. In this case "cruel" is more "cold". I really don't like telling noobs things like this, because honestly... The whole wikia is saying the say thing. But people choose to ignore things. Its that ignorance that is more of a growing problem for the fandom then anything else. It used to be just plain bias back in 2010.
I'm afraid Bebe is the type of fan that makes me sad, because we can't open their mind to the wonderful world of the other 60+ vocaloids we now have...
Even then, as well as Vocaloid, other synths like UTAU are getting more fame and notice. Vocaloid opened the gate for other things such as CeVIO, Chipspeech, etc. I mean look at Cantor and the software we notice exists these days and compare. Cantor's day and the V1 era, synths hardly got looked at. :-/

i know, it sucks. i tend to avoid a bunch of the older vocaloid songs because of this, and it makes me really cynical when it comes to the success of new synths and vocaloids. anyway, probably should stop commenting on this thread.
@Bebe, someday you have to accept the fact that Haku and Neru aren't legit Vocaloids whether you like it or not.
please don't reply to 2 year old threads
Its not the fact they did, its the fact they aren't adding anything new.
Its okay to necro old threads but only to save making new ones and only if your really contributing new content to discuss.
In this however... Yeah, Bebe is long gone it seems so isn't around to hear and therefore there isn't added anything new. O.O
