    • ...Macne Nana is a VOCALOID now, I'm pretty sure all of her UTAU banks are deprecated.

    • There we go again:

Macne Nana was never an Utau to begin with. She was a pack of sample files for Mac DAWs. Her license allowed her to be used freely in any program, thus she was used a lot in Utau.

The 2S voicebanks and Whisper Angel Sasayaki were sold with a premade oto file but it was only for convenience because the developers realised most of the usage took place in Utau's environment. The site's tutorials and how-to pages only featured garageband and reason, even using those voicebanks in the tutorials.

As for the vocaloid thing, she is in the line since 2014, so yeah, no longer a pack of samples that render sloppy in the programs.

    • A lot of the early UTAU users got thing about the Macne's incorrect, which reflects things now that are spoken on her. Lets put it thi way, she was a UTAU second, not firstly, and a Vocaloid thirdly.

Outside of the 3 UTAU voicebanks that Fandom User mentioned Nana's fan-rendered UTAU vocals produced vocals that were lower in pith. If you used her in Reason or G.Band, the vocal would correctly render in a higher pith, but thats just how they were working in the software. Once she went over to UTAU in the fan conversions, she would come out lower toned. This is why UTAU users did not like her Vocaloid version ness. as they got used to the lower tone of her UTAU renders by fans early on. But her vocaloid vocal is more closer to how she is meant to sound in her original software renditions.

Only the 3 official version in UTAU pith correctly.

Please, stop raping that poor Shift/Caps Lock.

Also about her voicebanks. I always thought her UTAU usable ones also weren't free...

    • You could convert her into UTAU in the original versions if you owned her original version. A lot of early western fans mistook this as "she is free to distribute as a UTAU" since the misunderstood the meaning of what an "open license" was. Open license did not mean you were open to pass her around as she wasn't bound to 1-3 copies per machine, but rather so long as she was used for her initial purposes, you could add her to any equivalent software. In short, so long as you used her as a sound library, should be used with any software almost.

    • I like to call her a voctau sometimes...but her utau voices makes her sound better than her vocaloid voices which makes her sound soft and muffled..(I don't think PETIT has changed on bit...but just got more smoother...)

    • Her UTAU voices are too deep... And rigged.

Her Vocaloid voices are smooth and the right pitch...

I like that it's deep. It just fits her design to well. Her vocaloid voices in my opinion looks better for her 2s design...if only they did the same thing for PETIT into her.

      Erm... Japan.

Just saying they like a certain thing and Nana abided to that trope.
