The following is a project that may possibly benefit the wiki and interest readers and contributors. Discuss, suggest, edit, talk of what improvements can be added to Wiki projects:To do-list. But before making drastic changes see the Vocaloid Wiki Projects page for more information.

This is a public list of all the pending things to-do in the wikia, going from general maintenance to specific articles that requires intervention. The purpose of this list is help with Wikia's organization, assign task and give space for discuss the pending issues and how improve further more the Wikia.

Minor ChecksEdit

Standard/quality checks that are performed by visiting editors daily. For newbie editors with little experience, this is a good place to begin to become familiar with the wikia system and how to edit.

• Check Grammar and spelling on pages.
• Check url links work, if they do not, note what urls are not working in the comments section.
• Add links to and from orphaned pages so they are easier to find.
• Check out Special:UnusedFiles, find a use for these images or put them up for deletion.
• This needs to be regularly cleared out. Ditto this needs to be kept clean, except for a few important videos the wikia needs to use for its own purposes. If either gets too full, point this out to a admin or bureaucrat so they can clear these.

Long term commitments the wikia has to do that are related to site maintenance. These tasks are normally performed by staff, experienced/veteran editors or editors who have been on this wikia for a while and know how it works.

• Improve the Image Policy, create new copyright categories and create a Fair use rationale template, similar to the one in Naruto's wikia
• All galleries for the new tabbing system need categorizing.
• Tabs for the games needs to go on the front page. (I'm handling this since I've already worked out things related to this, but if its not done by Thursday I will need a prompt - Angel Emfrbl) done.
• Write guidelines for;
  • Strengths/Weaknesses sections
  • Examples guidelines need to be made official.
• Vocaloid Wiki:Noindex - make sure the talk page isn't neglected, note that it doesn't receive much activity anyway, so its not something we have to do every day.
• Update Vocaloid "Popularity sections".

• Discuss the possibility to add new categories or sections to the Song articles. This includes:
  • ​What to do with the Project Diva PVs and Concert clips
  • Add tags for make easier the search . Examples: Category:Songs featuring Miku; Category:Song in English; Category:Song featured in a Concert; Category:Song Featured in Project Diva\Mirai, etc.
• Discuss a grounds for songs being rejected (e.g. because they have no significance to the Vocaloid fandom, they're not Vocaloid originals, etc)

• Several Vocaloids like Aoki Lapis have iOS apps on them. While these are nice that they are noted, they could do with existing as actual pages.

• It would be nice to find a experienced translator to go over the information on the Kagamine Appends Wat shared. This starts on his Twitter account from the 10 December and backwards. Finding someone able to do this, is going to take some time and this will likely be here for some while before someone comes along who can arise to the occasion.
  • Translations Page - its time I brought this out to sort this matter out.
• Example of Usage sections are currently being expanded upon to allow more then 3 songs. This will take place this week (week beginning 28/01/2013) and be done for all commercial releases. Once this is done, Editors will be allowed to expand beyond the additional 3 songs added; but only if the new EOU sections are all filled in. The additional adding of songs will be the goal for this week also.

• Get the information and biographies of the persons under the Category:Developer. Most of the articles in that section are stubs or drafts. In the case of the Japanese developers, check if the information is available in Japanese websites (Translators required urgently).
