So, this is gonna be a weekly blog post series where I'm gonna take certain vocaloids and UTAUs, and highlight very well made covers, because I'm sure we all know that there are some crap covers out there. I'm gonna try to find fairly unknown covers, but I may post some well-known covers from time to time. For example, next week focuses on Mizuki Zuiga, and, well, mostly the Outer Science cover.
Anyway, this week focuses on an UTAU whose popularity seems to be rising recently. Her cover of Delusion Tax is perhaps her most popular, but there are many other covers with her that are equally as good.
First up, drop pop candy with Makune Hachi. This song, while not the most realistic, uses her in some unique ways. Meiji fans will know that she is a multipitch UTAU, and this cover utilizes that very well, with background noises at some of the different pitches. Makune Hachi is very good in this cover as well, although robotic sounding.
