So I won't be taking classes over the summer like I thought I was. Apparently they were dropped due to lack of payment. Which is realy funny because I sent an email to my scholarship advisor about the money at the time of my signing up for the classes back in the middle of April. You'd think that they would've been taken care of right? I guess that's ok in retrospect seeing as it will free up some time to actually enjoy my summer break.
Anyways, moving on to the whole back-up program issue from my last blog post. As it turns out I did get accepted into the one easier program, but after doing some research I realized that it's not for me based on several reasons. So that leaves the other which is Nursing. Only problem is that I have to take another 4 difficult and extremely time consuming classes in order to apply for the program this September. That is, if I stay where I'm at. I've checked out a couple of other places that offer nursing, and they seem to be the better choice. The one college only requires 2 out of the 4 classes left BEFORE starting the "core curriculum" as they like to call it. This is a good thing as taking all 4 at the same time would be too much where I'm at. Another good thing is that as long as I finish up the pre-requisites remaining I automatically get a seat in the program. However, they're so much more expensive than the college I'm currently at. Next step is to compare and contrast with another college I'm looking at, and in the meantime I need to figure out how I'm going to pay for all these classes. The stress just never stops it seems! Oh well. No sense in dwelling on the negative aspects of life right? ;)
