VOCALO Revolution is a Vocaloid related TV program that aired in Japan in January 2011.

AboutEdit

The show is about the Japanese Vocaloids and consists of interviews with the developers of the software, as well as popular producers within Japan. It will showcast the latest PVs. The show is not currently known to be part of a series and is a one off.

The TV show was also aimed at expanding the awareness and acceptance of the Vocaloid "culture" within Japan. One of the successful stories was the "VOCALO Revolution x CECIL McBEE" school line of clothing "MUSIC × FASHION × DANCE".^[1]^[2] A DVD of the show was later released.^[3]

All channels the program aired on are Japanese and no air dates for outside of Japan are known.^[4]

RevEdit

Rev was an original character released on the VOCALO Revolution website as a MMD. Like CUL uses VY1, Rev uses VY2's voicebank. A MMD model was also released after his introduction.

CompetitionEdit

VOCALO revolution is holding a song contest. Songs must be uploaded onto NicoNicoDouga by Feburary 28th, 2011 and may only use a female vocaloid.^[5]
